Our approach: Swiss sovereignty
We have chosen a 100% Swiss infrastructure. Concretely:
- The site is hosted on Infomaniak servers in Geneva.
- Traffic measurement uses Umami, a cookie-free tool hosted on our servers in Switzerland.
- Contact emails go through Postal, our sovereign mail server (Anorac Cloud).
- Technical error tracking uses GlitchTip, also hosted in Switzerland.
- Consent management is provided by Consentio, the Swiss platform built by Anorac Studio.
None of your data leaves Switzerland unless you actively click on a third-party service.

Data we collect
Depending on your interactions, we collect the following categories:
Forms (contact, quote request, catalogue download)
- • First name, last name, company
- • Email, phone (optional)
- • Country, canton, product of interest
- • Free message
Purpose: respond to your request, schedule a meeting, send you a quote.
Technical data (automatic, anonymised)
- • Pages visited and time spent
- • Device type, browser, language
- • Approximate country (no exact IP)
- • Visit source (external link, search)
Purpose: improve the site and understand which content interests our visitors.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses a minimal number of cookies, in two categories.
Necessary cookies (always active)
These cookies are essential to the site's operation. They store your language, your consent preferences and ensure browsing security. Consent is not requested for them: without them the site cannot work.

Audience measurement (Umami) — cookie-free
Umami uses no cookies and does not track users. The tool aggregates page statistics in a fully anonymous way. That is why we do not need your consent to enable it.
Third-party services (only with your consent)
If we add third-party services in the future (embedded Google Maps, YouTube videos, etc.), they will only load after your explicit acceptance via the consent banner.
Manage your preferences
You can update your choices at any time using the "Cookies" button at the bottom of the page, or by clearing the site's cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
Under the FADP and GDPR you have the following rights:
- • Access: obtain a copy of your data.
- • Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
- • Erasure: ask us to delete your data.
- • Portability: receive your data in a structured format.
- • Objection: refuse processing for commercial purposes.
- • Withdrawal of consent: at any time, no justification needed.
To exercise these rights, write to info@wtx-technologies.ch. We respond within 30 days.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Retention period
- • Contact requests: 3 years after the last exchange.
- • Client data: duration of the relationship + 10 years (accounting obligation).
- • Umami stats: 12 months maximum.
- • Consent choices: 12 months (automatic re-prompt).
Transfers outside Switzerland
As long as you do not consent to any third-party service, no data leaves Switzerland. The day we activate a third-party service (typically Google Maps), we will say so explicitly and ask for your consent before loading anything.
Security
- • HTTPS encryption across the whole site (TLS 1.3)
- • Dedicated infrastructure on Infomaniak, ISO 27001 certified
- • Data access limited to authorised people
- • Regular security updates
